My School won't offer an AP Test

My school recently gave a notice saying that it will not give out exams of which there are not AP classes for in the school. This means that I cannot take the AP Calc. BC test that I've been studying for last september. Is there any way I can take an ap test without taking it in school?

Try seeing if other nearby schools will let you take the test there. However, since AP tests are administered during school days, you might be marked as truant if you do so.

My son took an AP class online, and we had to call around to find a school who offered the exam. You can try calling the College Board, they may be able to tell you what schools are offering the course. We didn’t end up finding a school that offered it, but did find a school that offered to get it for us anyway - it is ENCOURAGED that schools do this. You are more likely to find this in a small school, or a private school, and they are allowed to charge extra.

call around to other schools.
