<p>someone please tell me what to expect for my score (when it comes out on thursday)</p>

<p>math: missed 3 mc 1 grid in</p>

<p>c/r: missed more than 5 but less than 10 (i hope)</p>

<p>writing: 12 essay with about 3-4 wrong.</p>

<p>Math: 720-740
CR: 600-630
Writing: 720-750</p>

<p>Total: 2040-2120</p>

<p>I'd say around 700 for math and CR and like 750 for writing. About a 2150 total. But I dont think CR is as low as 600-630.</p>

<p>Even with 4 wrong on writing, a 12 essay should still give you 770+, not 750. A friend of mine got -3 MC and a 9 essay for a 780, and it wasn't the most generous curve.</p>

<p>Assuming 8 wrong on verbal, you'd be getting-</p>

<p>710-730M
680-700V
760-800W</p>

<p>You probably didn't get a 12 on the essay. It's rare. I love it how everyone says they probably pulled at least an 11 and they end up with a 9.</p>

<p>I dont think thats necessarily true. I can't break 700 on CR or Math.(680 and 670) but I've gotten 12's on the essay twice and a row, and I felt good about em.</p>

<p>i think it was a generous curve!
i got a 79/80 in writing and a 9 essay and i got 770 X(</p>

<p>The best writer in my english class, ranked 1 out of the 60 AP english students got an 8 on the essay. And he didn't mess it up either.</p>

<p>He's won multiple essay contests, including one in his sophomore year where his essay was printed in the newspaper; he also won 1000 dollars in prize money. The runners up were the top seniors from a private school in Oregon. He wrote a winning essay for another contest (smaller one) in 20 minutes. Bottom line is, he's a great writer. If you look online and see a sample of a 4 quality essay, tell me how that could ever win a contest.</p>
