My scores are still pending?

I’m applying to GMU and my application, transcript, and teachers recommendations are already sent, but my SAT score is still pending. The deadline for early action is today, November 10, but if my SAT scores don’t get through then do I get differed to the regular applicant pool? I applied for the honors college too and that deadline is also today. Can anyone give me some advice because i’m really concerned, and I hate collegeboard for being so slow when so many students need it.

Have you called College Board to see why your SAT scores are still pending? There must be a reasonable explanation as to why your scores haven’t been sent. College Board was (and still is) sending scores off as quickly as possible. When did you put in a request to send score reports to GMU? Have you let GMU know of this?

My daughter’s score still says pending from 10/22 but College Board stated it was sent. It is weird though because the scores that were ordered for other schools say “sent”. Going to check with the school tomorrow.

Mine are also still pending. I think Collegeboard has been experiencing problems

In my opinion “pending” status is better than fake sent status. Mine said sent NOV 2nd, then i got an email said the score sent on NOV 11. I logged in to CB just now, aaaaannnnd…wtf, the status changed to sent on NOV 11!!! I cant believe anything anymore from CB now.

College Board has had problems getting out test scores for the Oct test. It blames it on the huge numbe rof students who took the test because it included all those from the June test who could take it for free because College Board’s testoing arm, ETS, royally screwed up the June test. The result has been some inordinate delays in grading and sending October tests and also some issues of tests not being sent even though CB is showing they were. Thus, I would advise contacting CB to learn actual status. You may also want to contact the college to see if it already has it and explain that there has been delay caused by CB. I am not sure of GMU’s actual rules but this blog from last year on Nov 25, 2014 indicates that test scores can arrive after the app deadline date and still be considered timely for EA http://patriotlife.gmu.edu/have-you-submitted-everything/?_ga=1.252277193.1951345472.1447385928
