it sucks. she doesnt like it here. i have also withdrawn my transfer application to brown. this is ridiculous.

.....who cares?

"this is ridiculous?"

What is - the situation or the school or what?

It'd be helpful to know why your sister was so miserable?

I'm sorry things didn't work out for your sister. Good luck to both of you wherever you end up going.

Not every school is "right" for everyone. I am sorry that your sister did not like it and hope that she finds the right fit at her next school. Most seem happy. Was it her living situation? Academics? Environment??? What specifically did not work for her?

If this isn't direct trolling, it's worth noting that Brown has an average of 8-10 students transfer out of Brown each year. We occasionally have a few who transfer back...

Ridn....would you care to explain how today you posted on the Cornell forum that you are a high school senior and asked your chances and on some other threads a while back you were a freshman at UMiami? Which is it?

Further, at ANY college, there are always students who are not happy. Sometimes it is the college and sometimes it is personal issues. Transferring happens all over. As modestmelody states, transferring OUT of Brown is very rare but it happens for a few students, but less of a percentage than at most colleges. Just because your sister is leaving, why does that mean you are no longer applying? One person's experience is not the same as another's.

".....who cares?"

LOL

Soozievt... what makes you a College Counselor?

Nobody cares. You wouldn't have gotten in as a transfer anyway. She's probably dropping out to have a crack baby.

Moral of the story: Don't go to a school's forum and tell them their school sucks.

What's ridiculous? You are obnoxious.

modestmelody, I believe it's based on post count.

Modest Melody....no, it is not based on post count as quaere surmises.

I am a college counselor at College Confidential. CC is more than message boards. CC also offers college counseling on an individualized basis to students applying to college.

I post on CC both as a parent and also as a college counselor by profession.

I'm not sure if this is what you meant by your question. Were you asking what the "College Counselor" designation under my member name means? If so, that is what I am answering.

this poster is just trying to get a huge thread started.its a trolll. big time one.

ModestMelody got pwned...lmao

Whoops - sorry, soozievt! I saw 6,757 and jumped to a quite erroneous conclusion.

hahah funny thread based off a stupid statement
