She is obviously a qualified applicant. Will she be applying to Columbia ED? If so, I think she stands an extremely good chance as long as she can make her essays and why columbia unique. If she does decided to apply ED, I hope to see her on campus in the fall of 2006.

Best of luck! Columbia is a wonderful school with tons of qualified students. Your friend is obviously within the ballpark and have a good shot at acceptance.

-Jaug1
Columbia College, Class of 2009

Yeah she'll apply ED. I keep telling her she's a talented applicant and she doesn't believe me, lol. Sometimes the best people are the most humble...

why'd she take AP World Hist. twice?
she has a good shot, especially if she goes ED
though admissions can be pretty unpredictable..

Our school offers "Global History" for 9th and 10th graders. It splits up that course into two years...the equivalent of that for the smart kids is AP World History. They take the first half of that 9th grade and the second half 10th grade. It is an advantage test-wise.

oh i see .
