I qualify for the SMART grant. I took summer session II and they sent me and e-mail saying they won't distribute my grant money until they see my cumulative gpa after the summer session. The qualifying cumulative gpa is a 3.0. I've met the requirement, but I still haven't got my money. Has anyone else had this problem?

Don’t panic. It is one of the harder grants for the school to administer as they have to check that you meet all requirements including GPA and also being enrolled in at least one class (not gen ed but major requirement) required by the SMART eligible major. At my daughter’s school her SMART grant was not disbursed until 2-3 weeks after the rest of her aid. Her financial aid page actually had a notation by the SMART that it would not be disbursed until after the add/drop period. Check on your financial aid page and if it says nothing there then check with the financial aid department.
