My Son's visit to Princeton Preview for the class of 2016

@ypcccu Oh–forgot to add: economics (for sure), WWS, and/or possibly physics. Was thinking at one point of certificate in linguistics but he just really needs to narrow his interests :)

Hey enonimouse-All the best for your son’s PP visit.I am sure he will enjoy it thoroughly and so will you.Hoping to have your family on board the ship to P coming fall!!
Do let us know about your and your son’s experience.

Princeton students can only concentrate (major) in one field, but certificates and even just other classes allow students with broad interests to explore multiple fields. (Plus, Woody Woo requires a bit of econ anyway.)

Just got home from the PP weekend and what a blast! From a capella singing groups, to orchestra, to sports, to engineering, to the myriad clubs and activities, to spectacular academics, to numerous travel opportunites, to the BEAUTIFUL campus we loved it all. And I feel like we barely scratched the surface =) What a great place and opportunity!

@ypcccu - Go TIGERS! =)

Yes, I believe he is aware of that. Apparently Woody Woo has an econ track, but I don’t think he can certificate in anything if he is at Woody Woo–uncertain but he seemed to relay that. He will just have to figure out what he wants–it is all available and he needs to narrow it down but that will come. He is committed and is thinking of applying for the Hume sequence I think.

I highly recommend HUM!

Cantiger and enonimouse-Welcome aboard the ship!!
Happy to hear that both your kids will be gracing the Princeton class of 2016.
Time to start missing heartbeats now that the countdown has begun.
kid here is already dropping hints about the work load in the engineering department being enormous thus kids can only visit family once in a month.
Go Orange!!!

Loved to watch the trash section of the band beat the santa :)

@enonimouse

Woody Woo makes you take courses from many different departments, so some of these courses could pull “double-duty” with certain certificates.

I had a phenomenal time at Princeton Preview as well!
Can’t wait for the fall.
