my Spring schedule is not set in stone!

Hey, the UC app update requires that I submit my Spring schedule.

Heres the problem: I have 5 classes I'm going to take, but I also want to take another class that I am unsure I can get. I'm already at max units per semester but if I petition I can get more units -- however I am not positive I will be able to do so. You can only petition several days into the semester which is after the Jan. 31st deadline for UC schedule updates. The class is a pre-req class.

my question is: Do I just list the classes I'm sure I can get and then submit the revision of my schedule if I am able to get the class -- will they see the revision and include it in the application process?

Thanks in advance!

Also, it would be great if you guys can chance me :]

what CC are you at now?

I’m currently at Pierce college

u should just list all ur classes, u can always call each campus later and tell them that u didnt happen to get into one of those classes, and itll be alright as long as that class isnt a major pre-req and/or wont affect ur IGETC

I go to SMC, and they say that you can’t petition for extra units until the semester starts too. However, I went and talked to a counselor and explained my situation (I got low enrollment priority and couldn’t get the winter class I needed, so I have to take it in spring) and she said they’re allowed to give exemptions for last-semester students, which it sounds like you are. So I would say go find a nice counselor, explain the situation, and hope that you’ll be lucky enough to be taking 20 units during spring like I am :/
