Hello, I was wondering what you guys think my chances are for getting into Stanford.
First off, I'm hispanic and my sister was in the graduating class for 2002 (she did great there).

AP courses taken:
Sophomore year:

Biology (5)
English composition (5)
Macro economics (5)

My GPA is a 3.95 non-weighted and 4.24 weighted with APs. My school doesnt rank, but I would imagine I'm in the top 10%

I'm also a national hispanic finalist and a national merit semifinalist with my junior psat of 217. I'm not sure what happened on the sat. I think I just got too nervous.

SAT II:
790 US history
770 Math 2
730 Biology
ECs:
I've been a competitive gymnast for nine years. I've contacted the coaches and although they cannot offer me a scholarship, they said I would do well as an addition to the team and they would help me through the admission process.

I've qualifed to Junior Nationals twice, comming in 14th on floor my junior year. I've been all-around state champion twice (AZ). Additionally, I was in the top 10 in the region this last year (Cal, Az, Nv, Hw).

Freshman and sophomore year I was on varsity diving, where I placed 6th and 9th at State championships respectively. Our team was also state champions my freshman year. Unfortunately I had to quit because my gymnastics coach made me.

My freshman summer I worked in my dad's geology lab. Sophomore year I got my PE credit over the summer, as well as taking an art class at U of A. This summer (Junior summer), I am a lab assistant in a microboilogy lab and I volunteer in a neurobio lab where I get to mess with flies .

I've also been to Tibet and have lived in Bolivia when I was younger due to my Dad's research.

I was a delegate to Boy's State and a nominee for Boy's Nation.

In addition to volunteering in the neurobio lab, I've periodically volunteered and exhibitioned for funderraisers at my gym (50hrs).

I have great rec. letters lined up and very unique essay topics.

Your thoughts?
