My teacher left for another school...

The teacher (AP Language + Comp) I was planning on asking for one of my teacher recommendations left my school for another one. Can I still have her do the recc? Or do the recs have to be from teachers still at your school? If I can't use her for my actual rec, can she do a supplementary rec? I really think she will give me a great recommendation.

Yeah, I would still use her. Go for the best recs you can get. I'm using an 11th grade teacher, the principal (I was an aide in the office for a semester) and will use a 12th grade teacher too.

Recommendations can come from anyone who has taught you during your high school career. My AP US History teacher left my school to become the Academic Dean at another school in New England, and he still wrote a recommendation for me.

Yeah, my math teacher of three years left going into my senior year, though he still wrote recommendations for me and about 20 other students.

I love how nancydrew said "use her"... :)
just thought it was funny and that I'd share.

'Use her'...get it?

And what will the teacher fill in for his/her school? The present school or the school he/she has taught you?
