My teachers aren't emailing me back!! URGENT!!

Ok semester grades are due for my teachers to turn in today and I am freaking out... I have 3 (well 4) situations that are causing me so much stress and anxiety. I had a complete panic attack and none of my teachers have replied.

Situation 1: Math
I am 1.1% away from an A. I know that I shouldn't expect to be rounded that much but I have put in so much work and got a 95% on the final. Plus last semester my friend was rounded 2%. I emailed her (politely, not whining for an A) and asked if there was anything I could do. She still hasn't replied and I sent it on Friday.

Situation 2: World History
Once again, I was borderline. I turned in an amazing essay that I literally spent 6 hours on, which would move me to an A, and it is marked excused! I emailed my teacher asking about it yesterday and she didn't reply yet.

Situation 3: Chem
I have an 89.99. I have held an A all semester and the previous semester so I emailed and asked if the 89.99 would be counted as an A. Once again she still didn't reply.

Please someone help. Is there anything else I can do?!? I literally can not have 3 Bs!! I am freaking out and panicking. My GPA will be ruined!!

Oh, man.
Good luck with that.
I’d try to talk to them personally, at school. What is the deadline at which they can’t adjust your grade anymore?

Chill out.

Today is the deadline! I wish I could talk to them personally. If my world history teacher doesn’t put in the essay I might go to the division head because I put in so much work!!

I seriously can’t relax. This could make me unable to get into my dream school. For 1% in each of these classes, my future could be completely different.

What are we supposed to do about it?

I’m just wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and how they handled it.

No it won’t. I repeat, no it won’t. If a college decides not to accept you based on 1% of one semester’s grades would you want to go there anyway? Colleges consider much MORE than your grades, especially something as insignificant as one semester. If you email these teachers and your grades change, it will only reflect the rounding in the letter grade on your overall transcript, not really changing your overall GPA significantly. I would say your priority right now should be talking to your World History teacher as it is a grade you actually have missing. The other ones are kind of luck of the draw (Chemistry looks almost certain to be rounded up) and most teachers don’t like students who ask for extra credit so close to the end of the semster. Lastly, the putting in grades deadline is not final. If something is discovered (like your essay that wasn’t put in the gradebook) that wasn’t counted, they can override the system and put it in. Again, it is not the end of the world.

relax bud…

Ok thank you. At my school it is shown as A is 95%, B is 85% etc. so even though I am only 1% away it will show as an 85%, which is why I am so worried.

Today is a Sunday, and you emailed them on Friday, so there is always the chance that they haven’t been checking their school emails over the weekend. It sounds odd for grades to be due on a Sunday, anyway.

One magical term:

“Grade Change Form”

Just get the grade changed after the whole thing is released if there was really an issue

Someone just told me that grades are due tomorrow. Is a “grade change form” ok to do? I have never heard of anyone using one, but I just found one on my school website so I guess it is a thing haha. I’m still freaking out over this.

Yes, it’s okay. Although, it is your fault for being in that precarious position anyway.

But I do it all the time, so who am I to judge? although I’m on the correct side of the A most of the time

Yes I know it is my fault in the first place, but I figured that the last weekend they have of work at least one of my teachers would have replied.

They’re all probably very busy.

You are not alone/ My teacher hasn’t email me back yet, and I sent her the email in May
