My Tech Rec Was Due On 1/15....I Still Haven't Even Asked My Teacher Yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

<p>Well I applied early action to 2 schools and had a teacher fill out the teacher rec form from the Common App.</p>

<p>I'm not sure if he saved them or not, and he never really gave me a copy....but I assume it's good because I got into both schools.</p>

<p>Well I applied RD to a few other schools and one of them require a tec rec. Well I want the same teacher to do it....but it's almost a FULL month late before they recieve....should I ask my teacher to do it or should I just forget about it because it will be too late?</p>

<p>When your teacher filled in the common app forms, those letters are sent to all the schools you initially applied to…</p>

<p>If not, you can still try, but a month is a VERY long time after deadline, considering the fact that other ppl just as qualified as you are have sent in EVERYTHING on time. </p>

<p>But why worry? You got two EAs!</p>

<p>Your teacher should have saved a copy of the rec letter, so it’s really just a matter of completing the form, which doesn’t take that long.
Meet with your teacher, apologize, and ask if it’s possible for him to do it.
If he agrees, call the school, apologize for the delay and explain that the rec letter is coming.</p>
