Hi, I am aiming for about top 20 colleges.
As Male Asian, I have ACT composite 33.
where English 27, Math 36, Reading 31, and Science 36 with writing 9.
As you can see, there is a huge discrepancy between English&Reading vs. Math&Science, and I am really worried about this. Would top20 colleges care about individual scores? (btw, I am going to be majoring in engineering.) What do you think, is this score "bad" that my English score will hurt me a lot? If I were to take TOEFL (assuming I would get good score on it at least above 100), would it compensate it? Should I retake ACT? what do you think? Thank you for advice in advance :)

I think so, esp. for Asian applicants. Though I’m not sure
