My textbook recommendations

<p>Many people on these boards ask what textbooks are the best, including me.</p>

<p>I have looked around, and found these to be the best in their areas. These may not hold true, and if anyone disagress with my recommendation, or has a better book in mind, then say so. Note: I have never used these books, but recieved titles from others and websites. Also, these are the best books to independent study with.</p>

World Civilizations by Stearns</p>

<p>Comparative Government- Comparitive Politics by Dushkin
Comparitive Politics: Domestic Response by Hauss</p>

<p>Economics- Economics Today: Micro by Miller
Economics Today : Macro by Miller
Principles of Economics by Mankiw</p>

US History - Brinkley</p>

<p>and the Foerester Calculus book is awful.</p>
