if you guys could calculate my UC gpa, that would be great! i will really appreciate your efforts

thanks guys

also, the english 10 honors is not a uc-approved honors course

I seem to be getting 4.13, PE doesn't count as A-G.

thanks..i just checked and that's wat i got too.

so, for weighted uc gpa, you can only add extra points for 8 semesters of ap/honors classes?
anyone know what is the average weighted uc-gpa is freshman acceptance to ucla?

i was looking on this website, and it says that average is like 4.3
"This GPA includes an extra grade point for all UC-approved honors courses (which include AP, IB, school-based honors, and transferable college courses)"

so when they got this average, they gave extra points to ALL ap classes, and not just 8 semesters?

4.14 But UCLA and Berkeley seem to have an untold policy of uncapping their UC GPAs.

honor english 9,10 ,honor geo and honor alg2 are not uc approved honor courses...

His 5 APs are already more than enough for the UC GPA, which only lets him get credit for 4 (8 semesters)

so, is my uc-gpa too low for ucla?

It's fine. Keep in mind that a lot of people that apply to the school that are overqualified most likely won't be going, and the school has to factor that in when they admit them. 4.14 is a result of a significant number of these people with very high UC GPAs using UCLA as a safety school. Arguably the actual average GPA of INCOMING freshman is going to be lower than the average of admitted. We don't exactly see people with 3.5s~3.6s going to UCR, even though that's their average admitted freshman GPA.
