My university "misplaced" my FAFSA

Okay this is a bit suspicious, and I'm not really sure how it will affect my financial aid package. I applied long, long ago.

I called my university financial aid office today as my friend who applied for aid much latter than I had received her award package. The first woman I spoke with reacted confused, responding, "Uh...your account has not been accessed by our staff since march 2." She requested that I wait on hold for someone with more knowledge.

I waited for five minutes and than a different woman informed me that the offices were closing for the evening and to leave a voice message!

Basically it sounds as if they have forgotten to fulfill and consider the amount of aid I will be receiving. I am a needy student and qualified for many scholarships at the university, but I have passed the "priority" deadline, this will probably affect my chance of receiving these right?

I have been very stressed over the amount of grants I will be receiving as I am borderline on a few, and waiting has been a nightmare! Does this situation sound like it could disadvantage me in anyway?
