My status has just changed to: "We have received all materials required to review your application. Your application will remain in this status until decisions are finalized. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made."

Is there another status phase after this? Or will I receive a mail soon?

Does UW admission office tell you whether you are admitted or not online? Or do they only notify your acceptance through mail?

Here is the secret college confidential trick. Top secret. Only 1.000.000 people know it.

On your myUW page, instead of "check my admission status", click on "Unofficial transcript." If you see an unofficial transcript with a UW student ID for you plus your name and major, I have learned from reading this board that this means the letter of acceptance is on the way.

weird that myuw status phase changed a bit today. before it had the date when it was updated which was dec.26th, but now it doesn't have that any more. instead it says your status is as follows "your application is awaiting review" I feel like there is slightly something missing.

I'm sure it doesnt mean rejected. I think it just means you've yet to be accepted and they are still going over things. As I said for me, the unofficial transcript does show (since last week), but I still havent gotten a letter. Dont worry!

I looked on the 'student services' under unofficial transcript and found my student id #, major, and high school class info. It was just posted today!
YEAH!!!!

"We have received all materials required to review your application. Your application will remain in this status until decisions are finalized. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made."

I think it means that they have decided to wait until march or whatever to finalize your decision... since they release the majority of decisions around that time. I have the same status now and I am by no means a clear 'admit' candidate.

Ugh. This is so frustrating. Friends that applied after I did have already gotten in. I'm curious - does the major you requested have anything to do with how quickly you get accepted?

^ I'm thinking it might. Two of my friends (who applied after me!) already got accepted. But they were both different majors (engineering and polisci). I marked business admin as my major, and I haven't heard yet.

Have any other Business majors been accepted yet? Even if not direct-admit to the business school.
