<p>I received email "Your UCI Applicatio​n Status has Changed" from UCI. But,I don't see any messages after I log on MyAdmissionsApplication@UCI.</p>

<p>Does it happen to you?</p>

<p>I got same email the day after the admission notification showed up on the portal.</p>

<p>So, as soon as you log in, you see the acceptance message?</p>

<p>This will redirect you to the admission status page. There on the top there are two tabs titled “Welcome”. Click on the second tab and it will tell you the status…Congrats!!!</p>

<p>I think there is a bug in the software.
I clicked around different tabs and then back to the second “welcome”, it became “no application record available” :-(</p>

<p>This happened to me too, and the admission decision didn’t show up until the day after. Just have patience. =)</p>

<p>I do not remember ever pressing a button that read “send acknowledgement”. Does anyone know where I could find it or how I will know if I already send the acknowledgement? I heard that this could make a difference of when you get your notification.</p>

<p>The “send acknowledgement” button should be on the first page right when you log in. After you click that, the decision message comes up. At least that’s how it worked for me.</p>

<p>Thank you so much! Once I clicked “send acknowledgement”, I was able to see my admission status! Even though I clicked the “send” a few times before.</p>

<p>“We have received your application”
“You are being considered for major Mechanical Engineer”
“We will notify you of our admissions decision as soon as it has been determined.”</p>

<p>@starbuck ME TOO… :frowning: What major did you apply as, Is it possible they are sending acceptance letters based on MAJORS? … well besides the ELC kids because all the acceptances I read so far seems to be SCIENCE majors…</p>

<p>its not true that only science majors are getting decisions first. i got a decision and i’m an economics major.</p>

<p>Mine still says “being evaluated” as well. Could they be releasing by high grades/score tests? Maybe they’re releasing by UC Index score? Who knows… I know the people in our school who got accepted have pretty good GPA and test scores ):</p>
