I already sent in what I could. I was confused about the natural sciences section for my major in the major prerequisites application.

Which has a heading:

Natural Sciences - One course required, select from list below:

I've taken two courses in this section that could be used to satisfy. Do I list both courses? Or just one?

Also for this application, am i to strictly list the courses ONLY IF THEY ARE articulated on assist.org? I ask because I have a heading that says this. RIght beneath the strongly recommended portion.

If there are no articulated courses for Comp. Sci. 61B and/or 61C, UC-transferable courses in data structures or assembly language, as well as a course in C++ or Java, are Strongly Recommended.

I have taken courses in assembly, does thta mean I should list it? Even though if is not articulated on ASSIST?

THANK YOU :(

I’m applying as an EECS major btw

List both natural science courses. I’m an EECS transfer, and I also had more than one course that satisfied the natural science requirement. As for the CS classes you’ve taken, I would list them even if they don’t articulate according to assist. If you are accepted, you can try to petition for credit if you feel the class you took gave you an equal education to what you would’ve received at Berkeley.

Hey. Thank you for responding Integrant.

Thing is, the other class that I was debating on listing was Chem 1A, which I got a C in! So I’m thinking it’s better for me to leave it off. What do you think?

An academic counselor told me that if I had more than the required amount of course(s) to fulfill a requirement to use the course that you got the higher grade in. Just some food for thought.

Yeah I only see a need to list one course. No point in listing another, especially if you got a C in it.
