Hi folks,
I was trying to submit the first form of the MyMIT application and I submitted all the details and in the end, after I clicked "submit registration" the page gave me an "error 500"
I was wondering if this is my problem or a problem everyones having.

I’m having this exact same problem. I’ve been trying to solve it but I still haven’t figured out how…

Is anyone still having this problem?

Could it be that the online application isn’t supposed to be available until September (as stated in the the admissions web site)?

There seems to still be an error?

BUMP I’m still getting the error too! Help anybody? :)

I just sent an email to my contacts on the inside – I’ll let you know if I hear anything. ;)

I’m having the same issue: it won’t let me create a MyMIT account. I told my counselor today and he said he would email admissions and let me know what they say. I thought I made an account over the summer when I registered for a visit. Does anyone know if these accounts refresh each admissions season? Will I have to make a new account? Or did I do something differently before?

Did anyone successfully make an account within the past two months?

Just got an email today that the MyMIT registration is open. I thought that meant it would work now, but when I tried to create an account, it still didn’t work! I’m stressing because I want to apply SCEA!

Okay guys, here’s some advice straight from the man with the plan, Matt McGann, himself:

Thank you, I went with a different username and it worked :D
