Myopia/Hyperopia

-3.00 for both eyes.

I had 20/20 vision until three years ago, when i moved into a new home and the lights weren't installed until a week later. I had to finish homework early to avoid working late at night. That's when my eyesight started failing, sadly.

wow you guys cant read the top E?
That E is like massive!

20/20 in one, 25/20 in the other, even with an eye problem!

"-1.25 and the right -4.25."

Ouch! What does it look like without glasses/contacts?

-7.5, -7.5 with contacts :(. It'd be 8+ with glasses.

Anyways, can't wait for lasik.

Same as Triceps or near it.

Ahh my lenses have been sliced cuz they're so thick. :/

-3.75 in one eye and -4.25 in the other. I'm jealous of people who have the same vision in both eyes, if only because it makes buying contacts easier.

So, how many of you can't tell people from trees fifteen feet away?

wow, without my contacts in, I can't tell people from trees at two feet away...

I can't......................

oh ya I have -1.5 D for astigmatism too = gives me a headache all the time

20/20 here.
You guys are not serious.. tha E is huge!

My eyes are practically danging from their sockets, waiting to be clipped from their strain and pain.

But fear not! I keep that attached and help them stare so lovingly at the keyboard as I type this.

Wow.. and my parents think that -2.5 and -2.25 is high..

35/20 (0) (my father has around 200/20, -.25 in each eye)

-7.00 for left, -6.00 for right, with a fairly steady deterioration over the past few years (was a -4.5 in the left and -3.75 in the right in 8th grade - last year I was -6.5, -5.5). Hopefully I'll level out soon. Astigmatism too.

Glasses since fourth (needed them in 3rd, but was scared to say that I couldn't see too well), contacts since 8th.

Reading without glasses/contacts is impossible unless I'm within 5 inches of the paper. I can recognize faces within 3-4 feet.

-2/-2

heh. i avoided contacts/glasses until around 8th grade. it was so bad when we had assigned seats in classes like bio and i sat in the back and had to take copy notes from the smallest writing ever on the board. ughh

now i have contacts and all is well : )
