Who is addicted to MySpace?

ME ME!!!! But my school banned it because some guy wrote some vulgar stuff about a girl. There are ways to get on though. My page link is in my profile.

So what exactly is myspace?

nah, still damn facebook. I'm on it but I don't care about it.

Myspace.com is a way to connect with friends, network, etc. Check it out. You might like it.

Facebook sucks. Most of the pictures never even load.

Thanks for adding me CC Student. I like MySpace because I can find anybody, not just those in college. I found a friend I haven't seen since sophomore year and moved to Cali and she's not in college. Also people I went to grade school with. I won't be able to use facebook until this fall so I can't compare.

My school is not on facebook because it is a community college, so I can't comment about facebook either. Your welcome for the add. Anyway, I still think your situation is pretty sad. Anyway, myspace does let you interact with a lot of people that you might have not seen for a very long time. Also, it is very user-friendly, and the picture loading is decent.

My space is usually reserved for teenage girls and indy rock bands as a way to connect with each other.

facebook is 1million times better than my space. period.

I don't know. I can't use it. If I can't access it, then that is not very cool for me, is it?

Why do you say that, Bern? It seems to me that myspace is better than facebook because myspace has all the features that facebook does (university linking, university information, groups, etc.) but also:
-More pictures, plus they actually work
-More options to share your interests/information
-More access to find people that go to other schools, or people who don't go to school. I've found people I've lost contact with on myspace. I only find people I know on facebook
-The e-mail system on myspace is better
-The commenting feature on myspace is fun

Yes, there are also weird people on myspace on as well, but that is the world.

Myspace is SEVERELY ADDICTING.

Heck, I DON'T even have it and I am addicted to it because I know of some ex-friends on it so I go and see "what's up" in their page.

it's such a waste of time if you think about it.

a stupid internet page which only contributes more to your problems/drama.

it's nothing but gossip all on YOU on the internet.

everyday the myspace owner has a tendency to view his or her page and see what "mischief" has peen up.

this is why I don't have it. to avoid all that hype and gossip. yes, myspace can be fun, but i know people whose friendships have suffered because of it (e.g. the gossip would begin).

thank God I don't have one. I don't even use AIM or "instant messaging" services because they are the same as Myspace. they can give you horrible experiences.

I'm a kick back guy. Call me up and lets chill, that's it. I don't even USE this computer except for the following reasons:

e-mail
pictures
internet & informative sites (such as college confidential)
media
news
readings

that's it.

No stupid computer is going to ruin my social life like it did to so many others I know!

MySpace is dumb. It's all ppl talk about at school, "like omg can i be your friend.....". Its annoying, stupid, and serves no purpose other then posting slutty pictures of yourself (y u would want to do this i do not know). I think xanga at least has a purpose w/ journals, but myspace ppl hardly post on!

I use xanga... i would do a myspace but i would only have like 5 friends lol.

Hahaha yeah I was a xanga addict back in high school. I miss it a little b/c I don't have time for it. But that is a completely different subject. And I find the pictures for myspace not to work and everybody changes their name so you can't find anyone. I find the whole thing cumbersome. I'll stick to facebook still.

sounds like friendster/hi5/orkut.... is it?

I'm more into Xanga, but I like MySpace because I can search for a specific person. Xanga leaves me to look through my metro, and that's a lot of people.
