No, facebook is still a popularity contest. At least it is for our school.

yeah i agree, i think that the network sites should just not count how many friends you have, like totally exclude the this person has 23434 friends. its ridiculous that the things keep track of it. you should be able to befriend people but it shouldn't be like a popularaity count.

Facebook for college is much better than myspace. I haven't used the high school version of Facebook.

Myspace lets users make their own design decisions and I have yet to see a well done myspace page. People post several videos and audio on their page and the audio conflicts.

Facebook is much faster and looks like it is programmed significantly better. Facebook has made great design decisions, most notably their picture tagging which is extremely innovative.

Myspace might be getting slowed down because it allows automated browsing, messaging, commenting and inviting go crazy on their site because it doesn't limit the number of messages and invites you send. Facebook limits this. They usually cover all angles in their development.

PM me and I'll show you a well done myspace page.

But yeah, thats only 1, all the rest are poor at best.

Facbook FTW

facebook question: when i go to college, will i have to make an entirely new facebook for college?

Heh... I just realized I could register under facebook as a duke student. Most interesting... atlhough facebook isn't worth my time.

myspace is sketch. ANYONE can get it. i have teachers on it. not to mention the child predators. nevertheless...facebook is accessible if you have the right conections...but its just a little bit more safe.
thus my vote is for Facebook.

At one point I will get a facebook, but currently it just angers me. Simply because it would not let me create an account. Nevertheless, I like myspace better because of my ability to customize it. But, I also like the less popular Myyearbook(it's quite ridiculous, but cute).

I have both MySpace and Facebook and I like Facebook approximately 40,000x more haha. Random people don't ask to be your friend/send you creepy messages without using punctuation..."hey sexy wanna meet up your hot we can chill what do u like in a man do u wear a thong"

Also, I don't have to listen to everyone else's music on Facebook, which can be nice. And there are no 13-year-old girls in too much eyeliner taking pictures of their cleavage so that 25-year-old guys can leave them comments about them. Plus, at my school, all the people I actually like have Facebook :)

Myspace....

Had it, delated it. It was prety fun, but I grew to the point where I only logged on to see messages

Facebook for hs...

I didnt like it... too boring and proffesional feeling.

Facebook for college...

Awesome! It feels sooo much better than the hs version, and its 100 times more addicting than myspace. You dont feel like you are being bargled with immature crappy emo kids musics and weird background, you are all on the same playing field. If you want to reach out and make friends, then its up to you and you alone, not some weird song that some people will like. It really is a place to network I think, and it feels like you are networking much more than myspace... which kinda feels like you are dicking around filling out questionaires... College Facebook feels better than HS because it feels like it has more of a point...
