Myspace vs. The Facebook

Does anyone know what happens when you deactivate your facebook account and then activate again, are all your friends still on your profile or do you have to start over? what about friends who confirm you while your account was deactivated?

Facebook all the way. The only good thing about Myspace is the ability to add more than one picture! I'm hoping Facebook will add that feature too!!!
But yeah Myspace is WAYYYYYYYYYYY too creepyy......weirdest guys preying on little girls, and rock bands trying to promote themselves!
Thank goodness for the facebook!!

I just signed up for myspace today so I can keep in touch with people who don't have facebook.

Facebook looks far more professional-looking and only has people your age. I may be biased as I've never had Myspace, but I think Facebook is definitely the better of the two.

facebook is way better...

although it was better when it was even more exclusive (i.e. only ivies)...now they're adding piece of crap schools like community colleges, DeVry, and the Art Institute (yeah the one that's on tv...)

oh well at least wirehog for facebook is still pretty exclusive.

WHATS WRONG WITH SCHOOLS LIKE DEVRY.

They are specialized school, doeant mean they are bad. Or that your school is any better.

Myspace is for people in high school, older guys, or people who didn't go to college. I know all of my old friends that never went to college are on it. I like facebook. I don't think they're adding community colleges. Their plan as of now is just getting all of the 4 year universities/colleges.

To many emo kids on myspace,

Id rather the face book.

They have added community colleges, but only ones that give students e-mail addresses.

There isn't any of those stupid backgrounds and music on Facebook, and that I why I think it is better.

I dont see anything wrong with a Community college or a tech/art schools.

Whats wrong with them, everybody has different circumstances. and dont frown or look down on those schools. They train their students well.

I've always wanted to attend University of Pheonix.
cough

I personally like myspace. However, i'm biased and closed minded cuz i havent tired anything other than myspace...ever. lol. I am in High school too BTW, and it seems like almost everyone from my high school has a myspace.

Contrary to what you guys say, there are a lot of smart college kids on myspace.. and yes, there are some wierdo sketchy people and those "become myspace" by posting those lame mirror pics but I chose not to add them. U just gotta be exclusive in who u add as your friends and what not and then you'll be fine. I know i would never add anyone I don't know.

Well. that's my take on it. Maybe when i'm in college I'll get facebook too!

myspace is for emo posers. true story.

very true story

I deleted my Myspace account awhile ago... just got tired of the guys looking to "holla" and pretentious "scene" kids. More of my friends are on Facebook and I agree, it seems a lot less sketchy/teenybopperish. I don't have an issue with them adding community colleges, though. It's a site for college kids and everyone who's in college should have the right to be represented.

I think you shouldn't be allowed to get facebook until the first day of classes.

^ I agree.

why is that? i think its a fairly decent way to stay in touch with people. especially your high school friends/acquaintences the summer before everyone leaves for college.

Because people end up friending 300 classmates that they've never met. But it's not that detrimental. I still prefer to have it before starting school.

I just cancelled my myspace account. That thing was getting so creepy.
