<p>CREATE A NEW ID. (Re-do all the steps)
You need to apply as a NEW STUDENT, not a visitor.
I made the same mistake, called Bruin help desk & MyUCLA help desk (310-267-4357). They both told me I need to give up the ID I made (because I didn’t enter my 9 digit UCLA ID #) and make a COMPLETELY NEW ID. You’re getting those error messages because your accounts are marked “visitor”, not “student”.</p>

<p>I did what they told me to, and got in perfectly!</p>

<p>And for people that can’t see their admit status on myUCLA:</p>

<p>you need to click “CONTINUE TO ADMISSIONS” at the top of the page.
Then click “Undergraduate Admissions” and you see the Congratulations! page.</p>
