Breaking news: UCLA trolls applicants by denying all people who could see a financial aid summary before the 20th.

These are the nightmares that go through my head…

@iCarpet: definitely, keep in mind that UCLA read your essays, which means they not only look at you in numbers, but as a whole. Also your major’s average admit GPA is 3.2, so you really have a good shot. Best luck to you. =)

Thank you moon9kittie! I wish you the best of luck! :)

@moon ohhhhhhhhhhh, yeah mine says no request and when i hover above the link it says it either hasn’t received my fa or that i haven’t submitted my SIR, which obviously i haven’t since i haven’t been admitted.

@bougie you need to get admitted first in order to see your official award so no one can see it at this time. the no request/access thing.

lmao jetlogic. i dont know if i would be ****ed or laughing if that actually happened.

anyway, i feel like i can finally breathe a little now. woo

its 2am, and no one wants to sleep? =)

@icarpet your gpa is right around the average. I think you definitely have a good chance too.

i dont know if i should wait for myucla to update at 3 or just go to sleep now…ill probably just wait

@moon9kittie, I have an exam at 930am. I am kinda doing homework and studying while checking CC and URSA, but It’s gonna be hard to sleep…

I can’t even sleep right now. so hyped up

i know right. my palms are really sweaty right now and i feel like going for a late night run just to release all this energy

I was about to go to sleep…and then…just one more refresh…

do you guys know if a lot people who were able to see their financial aid early were rejected?

no one that saw their financial aid were rejected as far as I can tell from previous threads

For the last two years, I believe the biggest indicator near decision time was the error message received when the housing app was accessed. The students who got the “Application Unavailable” were accepted but news wasn’t so great for the “Unsure of enrollment”. I’m not sure if anyone this year has the first message yet, so this indicator may not hold true for 2012.

i still cant believe it dude. i was so sure i was gonna get rejected. i guess i just have to wait for it to all sink in.
