MyUCLA web site

I hate to be a downer, but unless someone can’t see FA tracking and summary, it’s not necessarily a good sign.

Yes, got on the bandwagon and made an account. Can see FA tracking and summary as of today. Won’t take it as a sign until someone CAN’T.

@newchapter14 I can’t see it either.

I can’t log onto myucla or see my financial aid but I think it’s because I didn’t submit a fafsa. Right?

ocean, well there you go. two people, or at least one.

I’m not going to give up hope, others couldn’t see it till day of released decisions and others saw it and then were denied.

I wasn’t apply to apply for a bruincard last night, but I can now. I don’t see fin. aid, housing app (says unsure of status), and myucla does not allow me to log in. For those who are unable to see their fin aid, can you apply for a bruin card?

Is the bruin card application anything worth noting?

So if I see this:

Housing Status: Off-Campus
Financial Aid File Status: Incomplete
Financial Aid Notification (FAN): Not Available
Cost of Attendance: $29,796.00
Student Contribution: $250.00
Parent Contribution: $2,443.00
Total Financial Need: $27,103.00

Does this mean that I would only need to pay my student contribution and parent contribution?

Any English majors able to log onto myucla? Maybe they are doing it by major?

@cookswag pretty much

@newchapter
I recall seeing at least 3 ppl who couldn’t see anything
@Cookswag:
parents and student contribution is what you guys are expected to contribute, the rest(Financial need) if not covered by grants(Pell, Cal,…) will be your responsibility as well
@those who can’t log into myUcla
Don’t worry, this historically happens just before the decisions are released(White Bar---->Major), most of the few who can do this now were somehow involved with summer session

So you guys really think that if your financial aid information comes up youre pretty much accepted? i want to believe…

Well, my financial aid documents appeared. That is good news. They were not there last night, showing now. Shows my “Need” and all the stats. Says “Status Completed” above my submitted documents. They are dated today: April 18, 2012. Can’t be a bad thing. Still no actual financial aid “award” though. Waiting, waiting…

most of us on here have pretty nice stats. I’m not surprised almost all of u can see it. I guess we’re all part of that 5300

@Northbeach, that’s how mine is. I also have MyUcla with my major showing in a white bar. can anyone see a tracking in MyFAO? It doesn’t say the have been accessed or what not.

@Philosoup…not all of us.

I am going to take an Econ class at UCLA this summer, 140 students are enrolled. Damn!!! I have never been in such a large class.

@norcal77 I think we can only see that after we submit an SIR

@nortcal
still getting the error message at myucla. but my docs were submitted this morning. when were yours dated, the 11th? so i should probably hear about admissions before i show up on myucla. possibly anyway. two more days! good luck peeps.

do you have to enroll in summer classes to access MyUcla? is that how you guys are getting into it?

Northbeach, I think the only reason I have access to Myucla is becuse i messed with summer stuff. when i first was able to log on to it it said summer session student, it changed overnight, somewhere around 4am since I was up tweaking out on ursa till late, now it has my majot instead of summer session/special student.
