well the trend has been broken it seems…

Hey everyone. I’m new here!
I also get the first picture (with the blue letters) and I’m also able to view the mybruin card option, but can’t get past it. I didn’t submit a fafsa. Is there any other way to know ahead of time? I’m not really hoping for any miracles though. I have a 3.14 overall. I’m a sociology major but I applied for American Indian studies at UCLA . (around 14 people applied last year and average admit gpa was ~3.2). Good luck to all of us!

I don’t see anything in bruincard

I don’t see anything either (besides the regular “add funds” stuff). I think that the MyFAO “trick” is only for people who submitted fafsas. Oh well. We’ll find out soon! I just had a little hope that UCLA will see the real me (I got a 3.6 in fall 2011, all As and one C with 15 sem units).

@icarpet, what do you mean you can see mybruin card option? where is that? is it on the second column of the ursa page and it says: “View Bruincard account” ?

@bougie: Yep! Sorry, I should’ve used the exact words listed on ursa.

When I click on it, it redirects me here:

https://secure.bruincard.ucla.edu/bcw/web/Home.aspx

Same here. Did you check the bruinbill accounts? I clicked on it and it sent me to my account and it had my name (but nothing else) on the upper right hand corner. I’m just so worried. I don’t expect much with my GPA anyways lol.

I honestly don’t understand why most of you even bother with these supposed “tricks” - the ones prying into every corner of the UCLA site for potential clues of their admission are the same ones too skeptical to take it as any indication anyway. Regardless of what you find, you’re not going to be any less anxious until the decisions are officially posted. Let’s be real here.

Checking this site daily is the worst thing you can do. Do 50 sit-ups every time you have the urge to check this site and the admission status pages of the schools you applied to. Come back in a week telling me how happy you are about the combination of great abs and an official admission.

@icarpet, same.

as for the tracking 411 that someone mentioned earlier when i click on the financial aid tracking link in the second column it lists my status as “completed”

@tredelta, girl, i’m right there with you, but who cares? i’m bored, at work, trying to get my time spent until i get home okay~ don’t judge me.

@bougiebouche & @iCarpet: when I try to log in my bruinbill account, I get an error. I guess if you able to, that’s a good sign.

@bougiebouche: do you able to see your summary?

@bougie where does it exactly say complete? definitely a good sign lol

this is what it looks like when i click on the “View Financial Aid Document Tracking”:

this is what it looks like when i click on the “View Financial Aid Awards and Summary on URSA”:

http://i.imgur.com/qH79G.png

the latter i’ve been able to see for a week now, but i thought everyone could.

@bougiebouche: According to the past few years of threads, =) this is definitely a good sign.

@ bougie wow you’re in. almost everyone who were able to see theirs were accepted atleast from past threads. congrats. and I don’t think anyone on this board was able to see their summary for financial aid. and for tracking, how long have you been seeing that for?

anyone interested, here is the past years thread talked about URSA:
2011 discussion starting from page 11.

so people were able to see their stuff on the 15th of april last year. I guess the people who are in should be able to see theirs by now. ugh ■■■

i checked out of curiosity… no tracking or fin aide stuff at all. at least kinda knowing now softens the blow for the real news this friday. although it doesn’t really inspire me to study for my statistics exam tonight.

■■■ ■■■ ■■■!
How can I not see it😲
K I’m officially freaking out now…
