MyUCLA web site

I have a 3.83 GPA and I haven’t received any sort of alumni call either. Plus I did TAP as well…

I didn’t get a call either, though I don’t have TAP. I’m very competitive for my major which is not impacted and my EC’s knock the socks of most applicants. Honestly, I don’t think it’s an indicator or a big deal.

^^^ I wouldn’t worry about that as some1 in the other thread said their friend(3.3 Econ) got the call!!!

If UCLA hasn’t stated that any of this voodoo stuff you guys are stressing over is actually indicative of acceptance/denial, let it go!

so I finally created the summer myucla acct…and it was white bar now a summer session unknown line…what next???

got financial aid info. btw

^ i guess if it changes to your major its a good sign…

Anyone here with a >3.75 who can’t see financial aid info or login to myucla?

^ I had a girl that applied to UCLA try it out and she couldn’t see anything in fin. aid awards, etc. Her GPA was around a 3.5 for what that is worth.

I have a 3.8 an I can’t log into myucla (didn’t do the summer thing) but I can see fin aid tracking, just no awards yet.

Virtually no one (aside from a single exception in 4 years) can sign into MyUCLA without messing with summer session.

The best indicator is your finaid award in URSA. Past years have also said that seeing “application unavailable” when trying to access the housing app has been good, as opposed to “unsure of enrollment,” but that hasn’t held up for this year’s transfers (everyone is getting “unsure”). Another positive indicator is seeing your major in MyUCLA. It usually takes a few days to change from summer session to your major, so don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t. Major = good sign; summer session = no certain indication.

but what about me

summer > major > blank

& the affiliation?

so since I just created a myucla, is this the reason I am (probably) getting only summer session?

I’m able to apply for housing. Good sign?
Before I would get a pop up saying something like invalid student or something.
Also, MyUCLA shows my major.

I can also apply for housing now (single undergrad), where before the “unknown” thing came up…

@collegeisheaven, it seems like people had to wait a day or 2 for myucla to update from just saying “summer” to a major

i think youre a ■■■■■ yseoooo. lol

@kitty, from what I gathered from last year, that isn’t uncommon. I’ll dig up that thread for you and try to get you some specific examples. major -> blank isn’t a negative sign.

@college, yes, that’s the reason why. myUCLA is updated at 3 AM, so some people who created theirs only yesterday were able to see their major after 3 AM this morning. I am not one of those people, so it hasn’t happened to everyone. that being said, it could either be that I’ve been rejected or that it simply hasn’t updated (some kids for many years saw “summer session” up until the moment they were admitted)

@yseoooooOo0oo0Ooo, all excellent signs! that’s what we want! how’s your finaid in URSA?

@cleo, that’s a good sign!

my financial aid status says “incomplete” what does this mean/ does anyone else have that??

Thank you Justin

@college, copy and paste what you get. if you get “incomplete” in ADDITION to an award amount, you’re golden. all the incomplete means is that the finaid office will need additional information once you SIR

UPDATE TO ALL TRANSFERS WITH URSA ACCESS

People can NOW access the housing application, which was one of the TOP THREE indicators from last year. If you can follow through “single student” and apply, that is a great sign. Please let us know if that is the case with you, and tell us if you can see your finaid and major in MyUCLA.

For those of us who still get “unsure of enrollment,” this is a bad sign IFF other people are able to access it unhindered. This is what we’ve gathered from previous years. If this is YOUR case, please let us know, along with the same finaid/major information as above.

regarding the housing, let’s see a screen pic of the spot for a 30 dollar deposit. Or it didnt happen.
