oh **** i put my ID up on CC…fackkkk

just deleted it…good **** kittychen i almost effed myself over. What were your stats btw?

@bear, I didn’t even notice. I think you’ll be okay :)

yeah I mixed up the admission login with the myucla login. I tried to login through that myucla and i get this error message asking me to submit my UCLA Logon ID
9-digit and UCLA ID number. Anyway to get around this? I think I tried to log on before and messed up on my initial attempt at getting access.

calm down bear, ha.

Do they send out an email?

How far into summer enrollment do you have to go to access MyUCLA and not see the error MeStudyStuff is describing? I get to the page where it says…if you were enrolled in a UC for Spring of 2012…enter your ID blablabla…but I don’t want to fiddle around too much and procure any unwanted consequences…

@mestudystuff and @oceanpartier, you don’t have to worry about messing things up. your Logon ID is the same username you use to sign into URSA, so keep that in mind, and this is how you get to myUCLA:

in URSA, click “view enrollment menu,” then select summer, then you need to continue through UNTIL you get to the screen that has a bunch of little paw buttons where you can add/drop classes, etc etc. AFTER THIS, log out of URSA, and wait 5-10 minutes.

the next time you log into URSA, it should ask you to update your email address. if you wait another 10 minutes or so, you’ll then be able to log into myUCLA with your UCLA Logon ID (which is your username) and all will be groovy

My message is immediately after clicking the login button for myucla. I’m going quit while I’m ahead. I can wait another day.

@imnotfreud, an email for what?

@mestudystuff, right, but did you go through all the summer enrollment steps? because you can’t login to myUCLA unless you have

@Freud- Art History majors, represent!!

Phew. I thought once I hit ‘single undergraduate student’ on housing, I’d be forced to pay $30.00…but thankfully not, and yes, I can apply for housing.

awesome, leesh :)

Yeah, I can also access the housing application and my FAFSA award thing is incomplete… hm. Can’t help but see too far into this.

(btw, no matter what happens tomorrow, I just want to say that reading this thread has been quite fun. Good luck to everyone!) :p

NVM I can’t wait another day, I’m going to do this lol

Will they send out an email tommorow when decisions are posted? Because I don’t want to sit in front of the computer for hours hitting f5.

@justinetruant

Thanks! Is this the only way to do it though? So all those people in previous years who used MyUCLA as an indicator had to mess with summer enrollment at some point?

@imnotfreud

I’d assume so, and if they do, I REALLY hope the decision is included and that the e-mail doesn’t simply act as indicator that our status on the decision page has changed…could be hell getting in there tomorrow.

@imnotfreud, they WILL, however the email isn’t the most reliable sign that decisions are up, as tons of emails don’t get sent, get sent too late, etc etc. at this point, a lot of people are assuming that decisions will be out between 5-8, with most people leaning toward 5 because that’s around the time decisions were released for the past 4 years

@ocean, that’s correct. you have to mess with summer enrollment to get into UCLA before decisions are released. there has only been a single exception to this in 4 years.

@itsgoodmetal, the email doesn’t let you know the decision, it just lets you know that it is online. and, in fact, it IS hell getting in there on decision day, and the site usually crashes.

quick side question. for my admissions decision login i used a different username/account than my ursa. So seperate accounts for both. You think that is a problem? I mean, ursa and myucla will be same assuming i followed your instruction right, but my admin dec login is different.

I hope the email will include a decision as well. I actually want to get some school stuff and work done tommorow.
