MyUCLA web site

I did file a FAFSA and I’m pretty sure that I did apply for financial aid.

Love that iMunster!

welp, I had calc class this morning aaaaand, apparently I slept through it because I was up all night. THANKS A LOT GUYS.

new housing message

The academic year you have selected is not yet available for submission of housing applications.

@justine: hey! this is weird but for the housing trick I can apply for single grad student and student needing family…but I cannot apply for the single undergrad thing…

awesome, thanks for the info kitty

UPDATE TO UC TRANSFER STUDENTS

as you can see above, there is a new housing message. it will state that the application is UNAVAILABLE - THIS IS OKAY. this is STILL a good sign. past years have showed one of three things when accessing the housing app early:

1) no problem accessing
2) "housing application unavailable
3) “unsure of enrollment status”

1 and #2 are the GOOD indicators! #3 is the NEUTRAL indicator!

tell us what you see if you want to and good luck today! :)

@pysch, g’morning! yeah, that’s normal. everyone can apply for the other two options. the one that matters is single undergrad.

So went to MyUcla; hello white bar…

I’m pretty excited about today

kitty/ you are not alone

@justine: oh maann this isn’t goodd…!!! I don’t think I am going to check today…yikes.

mine says
The academic year you have selected is not yet available for submission of housing applications.
lets hope thats good nt bad :(

@psych, do you have any of the other indicators? don’t you have finaid? or do I have that wrong?

@chemnerd, good morning! and no, that’s not bad - that’s GOOD! read above :)

Now I have the blank white bar. (I went from blank > summer > major > blank)…good luck everyone!

IM SO NERVOUS! Im almost tempted to call off work but if i get rejected it’ll be tragic!

@leesh, that’s good! :)

Hey @justine, any change in ursa / myucla for you yet? What does it say for you on myucla?

@justine: I did not apply for financial aid for FAFSA. Myucla homepage has summer session student…

@stevey, no change :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: ho hum, life will go on!

@psych, okay, gotcha. I don’t have any of the indicators either. remember, SEEING the indicators is a good sign, but NOT seeing the indicators is NOT a bad sign! :)

@justine: yeaah, I knoww…hope so! if you don’t mind me asking…what are your stats/major?

okay that housing message was the final indicator that I need, I will explain why, stay tuned.

I got the “housing not yet available for this academic year” :]
