@Justine: could you show me how to do that ? And does that affect the housing message ? I’m still “unsure of enrollment…” :(

@mango, no it doesn’t affect the housing message. but yeah, I could tell you how to do it. that being said, it’s too late now for you to get the myUCLA indicator. so logging into myUCLA won’t give you any of the positive myUCLA signs people in this thread are talking about, it will just let you play around with the site, okay?

Possibly 4~5 more hours? Good luck everyone!

@caboy, we’re so cloooooseee

So what happens when decisions do come out? Do we get an email prompting us to log in somewhere?

@ikeike, they SAY that they send emails out, but the emails themselves are extremely unreliable. tons of students each year either don’t get the emails or don’t get them until after decisions are even posted. best is to begin checking the decision site at or after 5 PM

Doesn’t MyUCLA only update at like 3 or something? Cause I woke up today and my major was in MyUCLA…but now it’s just white again…like when I first logged in.

@ocean, yeah, myUCLA updates at 3AM every morning. and major -> blank white bar is a good sign :)

On lunch break. What’s new? What’d I miss?

Is it 5 pt or et?

Most likely pt. It’s local time.

pt

10char

3 more hours!!! Good luck *****es!!

Good luck everyone! Do you guys know if this is THE batch or only the first batch?

@idizzle, I have a good feeling it’s only the first batch.

I haven’t heard a reliable answer to that question. I know that everyone is HOPING for a single release, obviously, but I haven’t seen anything official. Anyone else have any information regarding whether or not UCLA will be releasing in batches?

So people who had the white bar in the past were usually accepted?

I wonder what time we might start seeing changes on URSA. Freshmen who were accepted this year said that their URSA changed from three columns to four columns shortly before decisions were posted.

UCLA does not release in batches, though on occasion students have an issue and can’t see their status until a day or two afterwards. (This seems to be pretty rare)

Cool. lets all hope that it is THE batch instead of the 1st batch =]

okay, I just researched some general threads from the past 2 years, and it looks as though, just like Jet said, there are no official batches, HOWEVER, sometimes it took up to 3-4 days for some applicants to get an update on their decision site.
@newchapter, it isn’t the white bar that is a positive indicator, but having your major –> white bar. seeing your major in myUCLA is a positive indicator, but many people saw it change to a blank white bar right before decisions were released.

if you’ve never seen your major, you don’t have the myUCLA indicator.
