Does anyone know where I can go to see the classes that i will need for the Fall?

iDizzle
go to your department website and download the pdf showing graduation requirements. it is all there in black and white dude! with a few colors here and there. so cool. if you can’t find it let me know and i can do some digging. i am in the history department, easy to find my required classes.

money? uckitty has a total financial aid package AND 100k on the way. he is just chicken to move to LA.

I don’t know if I am in the right thread for this, but is anyone else having trouble logging into the name@ucla.edu email? I was working on my SIR and it said it would send anything important to that e-mail address, but I never actually set up an e-mail account, so it doesn’t know my password, and I can’t find where to set up just the e-mail account… I already have the username/password for the my ucla website, I just can’t access the actual e-mail… Most likely the answer to my problem is directly in front of my face but I have been staring at the computer screen much too long and was just curious if anyone else had tried and had the same experience.

i can’t factor in that money yet, it will come for sure, but just sure when so i have to go off of 5500+ the amount of these little loans. That is super unrealistic in my opinion. I was just wondering if that would hurt me is why I am asking because thats gonna suck if so.

Unless i get a dope roommate and live in a dope area, I won’t be going, final decisions.

I am not sacrificing living conditions for prestige. I am a pre-med, as long as I score awesomely on my MCAT and Ochem, I am golden…

^ davis is a great school. good luck uckitty!

has anyone SIR’d yet? if so, under your myucla does it still say pending under Residence for Tuition Classification?

just wondering

uckitty layin’ it down

northbeach, what are your housing plans, maybe i can sponge some ideas off of you.

well, if i get rejected from UCB i will look for some TINY room (closet) in santa monica (love santa monica!) attached to a mansion.

it is different for me because i have worked in LA (you know since i was 8 years old, hahahahha) so i really know my way around and spend a few days a month down there. this makes a big difference because i am comfortable living there, and know that it is smoggy, and trafficy, and crazy. but there are jobs, and santa monica is great.

for you, a dorm might be cool if you have never been to southern cal. my sister lived in the dorms at CAL and LOVED it. then she joined a sorority. and loved that too. it is just not for me. i am independent and prefer to live in a closet, off campus, rather than a dorm. but if you are at all nervous about moving to LA, then go for a dorm the first year? cool.

no, thats EXACTLY WHAT I WANT.

I may seem social on here, but at school, i want to meet who i want when I’m ready. I’m not all about trying to be with the crew or nothing. I trust nobody. i wear high end fashion streetwear, and i don’t want to be bothered with someone trying to steal my stuff…

i want my own place!

bougie I SIR’d and mine says resident. So I’m sure they are still working on yours

This is what mine says. I didn’t SIR yet

Your Statement of Intent to Register has not yet been received. Please allow 2 working days from the time you submitted your SIR for it to be reflected on this page.

i bet people are going to be blowing up UCLA phones tomorrow.

I will be one of those people. UCLA phone station in my living room tomorrow morning.

@ring ring ring@ haha. that is funny.

@ UCkitty: just try to stay on the West side of LA. West side is the Best side =]. It’s like the lion king. When simba’s dad was telling him never to go to that dark area in the distance. That is the East side and you should never go there, including USC area where those kids were killed. hahah.

@uckitty
and visit first. until you experience the traffic, you will not know how well you can cope. i do not care about traffic at all. but some people just flip out. seriously. that’s why the dorms are convenient. better go for a visit and have a look around. it is nothing like the bay area dude. haha. but i love it.

^^I hate the traffic on the 405. I drive stick shift, so every time I go see my bro or pick him up I get leg cramps. I’m only 20 minutes away from UCLA but during peak hours it could take like an hour and a half. >=|. But I’m trying to live within 3-5 mile range from campus so maybe I can take the bus or ride a bike.

just checked on the parking. passes are 200 dollars. that’s okay, but i wonder how hard it is to park. man, there is probably an entire thread dedicated to parking at ucla. haha

usb would be easier, i might just opt to take a ferry from marin and then bart.
