If a college rejects the waiver, do I have to resubmit my entire application? Or do they just ask you to pay the fee? Also, when does the college usually notify the student on whether the waiver is rejected or not? Will I know before the application deadline or after?

Thanks a bunch. :-)

Is there any particular reason why you suspect the college may reject the waiver ? I wouldn’t think it’s very likely that somehow they will do that. But yes, if the fee waiver is rejected, you’ll have to pay the fee in order for your app to be processed. You won’t have to re-submit your entire application (though it wouldn’t take too long anyway since all you have to do is to go to common app and press “submit” again.)

I heard somewhere that not all colleges accept the NACAC waiver. But thank you for the helpful information!

All Common App colleges agree to accept both the NACAC and College Board fee waivers (though the NACAC waiver is the only one you can submit online). So as long as your counselor verifies that you meet the eligibility requirements and submits the form, you’ll be fine.

Oh! In that case, the information should also be listed on the college’s admissions website.

Edit: cross posted with WinstonWolfe.

Thank you WinstonWolfe. :-)The waiver was already signed and verified by my guidance counselor. I sent it via email to my colleges, so it doesn’t have the stamped seal. :-/ I don’t know if that matters?

@xrCalico: okay, I’ll be sure to check for information on this on the college websites!

Thanks guys.
