Hey guys, I'm applying to Columbia ED and UChicago EA, and I'm planning on using the NACAC fee wavier for both of them. The deadline for the payments are Nov 1st, but some of my friends tell me that if you're going to use a fee waiver, you have to send it in like a week before it's due. Is that true? Thanks.

Wait, are NACAC fee waivers due on Nov 1st, regardless of ED, EA, or RD? o.O

I was under the impression that they could be sent in any time.

I think they’re supposed to replace your payment, and since your payments are due on Nov. 1st, you have to meet the deadline.
But then again, I’m confused about this myself (which is why i created this thread…)

Well I’m going to assume that you’re using the Common App. You can select the NACAC fee waiver option and hit submit, creating that cherished green triangle. As long as it’s postmarked by Nov 1st you should be fine?

I sure hope so.
Thanks alot!
