Miami QB signs deal with Florida NHL team.
Oklahoma coach with his finger in the dike…
Quinn Ewers, the freshman back-up QB at Ohio State who hasn’t even thrown an NCAA pass, just inked a $1.4M NIL deal.

Does anyone else think the SMU boosters are claiming (most from their graves) “It was just a Corvette/suitcase of money/home for their moms. We weren’t cheating, we were just paying them for their NIL, what they deserved!”
Treason is only a matter of dates.
This is an interesting piece. It sounds like at OK there’s going to be a part of the daily or weekly schedule cut out for player NIL time, just like film, weights, academics or travel. On its face it sounds wild, but it’s also pretty shrewd. If you try to anticipate how NIL would fracture a team or locker room it’s pretty clear that a few guys having schedule conflicts over opportunities that are not equally distributed would be an early one. I wonder what other major sport coaches are coming up with.
