I’m writing my app essays for UMich right now and wanted to talk about an internship I had at a publishing press. Is it better to mention the name of the press and the person who mentored me, or is that frowned upon?
Unless that person is notorious for something, it’s fine. But don’t use excess words describing them. The essay is about YOU.
