Hey guys, so i applied to UCSD with aerospace as my first choice major but got into my second choice, Nanoeng. To be honest, I only picked my second choice randomly and didn't really give it a thought. But now that I got into it, i've been hearing people talking about how It's going to get impacted in a few years, how it's the 'future' and basically really attracting stuff. Aerospace remains my true passion, and i might try to switch between nano and aerospace once i get in, but can someone give me a better, more in-depth view of what Nanoeng. is really like at UCSD? Personal experience is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Because aerospace engineeirng is an impacted major at UCSD, it is extremely hard to transfer into it unless you take all the lower division classes for the major by the end of your second year and get a 4.0 (NOT an easy thing to do). Nanoengineering is actually harder than aerospace engineering and you’ll make more $$.
