@Abrayo the prined manuscript thing isn’t being offered this year, but was previously offered by createspace
Also, 10,00 is’nt the finsih amount, it’s 50 000

I’ve hit 6000, but am lagging a bit behind due to homework demands and the fact I ran out of plot a few days ago

Oh no, no manuscript? Do you know if anything else would be offered in its place? I was really looking forward to it! Oh well, it seems fun anyway!

Oh right, I forgot it was 50,000. But haha that’s still a whole fifth! that’s crazy…

anyone who has done this before…how do you find time to do it with schoolwork and all? i really want to attempt it…maybe just the youth one because i dont think it is possible to do 50,000 words this year since i need to improve my writing a lot and i dont have much time. and i just found out about this. it says on the youth page that for kids in grades 7-12 they are offering a free proof copy of your manuscript.

Hmm, I can’t seem to find any information about the Youth one?
How do you specifically join that one? I believe I put my grade in when I registered; am I automatically considered in the Youth one? And what’s the minimum word count then?

^ and on it you can set your own target, but its not really NaNo if its not 50k!
8K and behind here, but catching up as fast a humanly possible :)
