DMeix, Noticed you were online. Do you know how many naps grads have attained the rank of admiral in the last 50 years? And do you know any of their names?

Ah, sorry...I was 'online' but not online.

I really couldn't tell you. I don't know a whole lot about NAPS. Anyone with 'NAPS' in their CC name is better suited to tell you. You may be able to look it up someplace online. I tried the NAPS page, but it didn't offer any historical info.

But if you have any questions about NROTC at a civilian university, feel free to PM me.

It seems like time is flying by so fast and before i know it I-day at NAPS will have begun

I wish it can fly a lot faster! lol!

Ah..... The eagerness of ignorance.

Never mind. Just having a motivator/JamTex moment, here. They'll understand....

well i agree with hannah..home sucks and time definitely needs to fly by faster

Here are some pics of the new barracks at NAPS http://usna.com/NAPS/images/photos/06/may/ripley/index.htm

The NAPS class this year might be getting butlers to serve them lol.

If there's anything I want you guys to know about NAPS is that put you're best effort into EVERYTHING you do, even though others around you say "It doesnt matter."

Oh, wow!

There was no track in my day. You simply ran around the street that bordered Nimitz Field. Ripley Hall was the academic building.

What are they doing with Nimitz Hall, now? Do you guys still march down to Ney Hall? Where are classes held now?

I can't get over how plush those new digs are! Damned LUXURIOUS, even!

Am I correct in concluding that each room has one of those shower/tubs now? Pretty slick!

My only complaint is the Quarterdeck (tile is too cold) and the fact that front door opens onto the track. VERY bizarre...

ETA: Hey! Did they add an extra deck onto Ripley? I don't remember it being three stories tall.....

Ah! Building K-61!

I wonder if that hole still smells the same?

Talk about instant flashbacks!

ETAA: WHAT is up with the THERMOSTAT and the CEILING FAN? First time I have EVER seen a ceiling fan in a Navy building, let alone a BARRACKS ROOM!

Royalty I see....NAPS '06 was the last class who had it bad I see...To bad '07 will never experience a "Gunny Walden" moment..

(i know this is a little off topic, but i can't log into the CIS, have they changed the password?)
