Narrowing down the search??

<p>I have already applied to: UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, Berkeley, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, USC</p>

<p>I am thinking of applying to: Claremont Mckenna, Harvard, Stanford, Northeastern, Loyola Marymount University, Brown, University of Pennsylvania, University of Washington, Northwestern</p>

<p>I need to be chanced on the above listed school. My 1st choice would preferably be UCLA or Stanford. What do you think of my "thinking" to apply to and where should I apply to with my stats?</p>

1st generation college
Black (Caribbean), Hispanic (Cuban), Native American (Cherokee currently searching for proof)
Low Income Family </p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
4 years varsity track (lettered every season)
captain of jumps 2 years
4 years interact
2 years FBLA
2 years Mock Trial- Prosecuting lawyer and Secretary this year
3 years CSF- Vice President this year
2 years NHS-
2 years XC
2 years- Music Internship-interview bands, write album reviews ec.</p>

<p>Top 10% of class
Academic GPA: 3.82
Weighted Academic GPA: 4.65</p>

<p>9th Grade:
Geometry H, Freshmen Seminar H/ Health (required to take), English 9 H, Spanish II, Cross Country/ Track, Biology H</p>

<p>10th Grade:
Algebra II H, Spanish III, AP Bio, AP Euro, English 10 H, Cross country/ Track,</p>

<p>11th Grade:
Precalc H, AP US, AP English, Physics H, Chem H, Journalism I, International Bus/ Marketing, Track</p>

<p>12th Grade:
AP CALC, AP GOV/ECON, AP english, AP PHYSICS, PHYSIOLOGY H, Photo, Track (2nd semester)</p>

<p>AP Scores:
5- Bio
5- US History
4-AP English
2-Euro</p>

<p>And my test scores are terrible I know, but here they are:</p>

<p>SAT Score: 1760
ACT: 25
SAT II:
690-Bio, US history
590-Math
*Mind you I retook SAT in December and I'm hoping for a 2000. Who knows though.</p>

<p>If you’re looking for advice on where else to apply, go to the “College Search” forum and try your luck there; this forum will likely overlook your thread otherwise.</p>

<p>If you’re looking for opinions about your chances at the schools to which you plan to apply, I’d say your list is reach-heavy. With that said, if you bring up your SAT to 2000+, your chances will go up dramatically. Your URM status, combined with 2000+ SAT, would get you accepted at many great schools.</p>
