Your ECs are great, but your SAT and GPA make it unlikely that you will get any merit at any of the schools that accept you. I hate to sound harsh, but your reaches are really out of reach, as is Villanova. You may well be admitted to some of the matches and safeties, but at full pay, it looks like nothing but the SUNYs/CUNY will be affordable – which is fine, as all are good options.
You might look at St Bonaventure and Canisius, where merit should get your price in the $30,000 or less range. But neither is better than Bing or SB, should you get into them. It’s possible that Duquesne in Pittsburgh would come in around $30,000, and that would be a strong option.
Your reaches are too reachy and many of your schools will not be affordable. For example…How will you pay for Penn State and Maryland if you get in?
I would focus on getting into schools such as Binghamton, Stony Brook and Geneseo. You might get merit at some " lower" schools… but I would focus on suny.
Make sure you don’t fish for merit at schools that would be a step down from affordable instate options just because of some idealistic image of college life. Keep an eye on the big picture.
SUNY Bing, Buff, Geneseo, SB are all excellent and should be on your list. If you want a more residential feel, Geneseo is in a cute town and is residential; SB is very commuter/suitcase and least residential.
If you want to go elsewhere, you need to increase your SAT score by a lot. So, study systematically - basically keep your eye on the prize.
Good residential private colleges with merit aid would include Marist, Muhlenberg, Elizabethtown, Goucher. Skidmore, in Saratoga Springs, might be a possible reach, as would Denison and Mount Holyoke, perhaps Bryn Mawr.
However you’re in a difficult demographic as there are lots of girls with your stats and ambitions, all applying to the same Northeastern schools, so if you want merit aid to bring costs to a SUNY’s, you likely have to look further afield: run the NPC on UNC Asheville for instance, or CNU presidential leadership scholars. Colleges like Luther, Illinois Wesleyan, Concordia Moorhead, Gustavus Adolphus, Ohio Wesleyan, Wooster, Drake, Butler, Agnes Scott, may be within range since you bring geographic diversity. (Fill out the request info form today since they take interest into account.)
Have you looked into Ursinus? It’s relatively close to Philly, a small private, you may be in their top 25% and get merit aid. If you’re willing to go into the midwest, check out Kalamazoo and Knox Colleges. Be sure to run NPCs.
