CWJONES411,

I'm sorry to hear that. Did you try calling to see if you could be waitlisted?

Not yet. Have you heard back yet?

I was also rejected, I am going to think long and hard about whether or not I should keep pursuing, I know everyone one here will say to keep doing it, but I just don't know if I stand a chance after not getting into SS.

^^^^^
Don't give up. It is more difficult to get into NASS than it is to get an appointment to the academy. At least 50 percent of the candidates who attend NASS will decide that the academy is not for them and will not complete the application process.

NASS is also based on your geographic location, so don't not apply to the academy because you were rejected for the summer seminar.

CWJONES411,

Yes, I got into to Session 2.

I'll be seeing you in session 2. =D

I'll be attending session 2 too!

yay for session 2-ers. i met two session 2 people from my area (PA/NJ) at some naval academy dinner. :)

just found this board. nice to see how polite everyone is. Our Son is attending the 3rd session of NASS while our 7th Grader will be at the Wrestling camp then both will attend the football camp June 24-26th. It is so fun to see them grow up. Keep taking the ACT and SAT he has improved dramatically each time. He also has a NROTC CPO talking about early offer as well.
