Hometown: Strongsville (south of Cleveland)
Session 3
Not really that interesting, but...
-I've polevaulted for the past three years.
-I've been on Student Senate for three years and am currently campaigning for Student Body President (stiff competition).
-I'm on the Strongsville Youth Commission, an organization comprised of local teens who demonstrate leadership skills and serve as a voice for the youth of the city.
-I'm involved with the Pro-Life group at school, which has marched in anti-abortion rallies in D.C. and the Cleveland area.
-I've travelled to Greece and the Aegean Sea. (I might be going to the U.K. next spring break.)
-I write a lot. Currently, I'm in the process of writing my fourth novel. I've also written several poems and songs. I haven't had any of them published because I'm a perfectionist and refuse to call something done unless I know it's my finest work.
-I've also written a bunch of movie scripts. The problem with that is I don't know anyone who can work a camera. I also don't have many actor-friends. Oh well.
-There's more, but I think I've tooted my own horn too much. (Which reminds me, I can make a noise with my mouth that sounds aexactly like a trumpet.)

Cougar, I'm attending session 1 with you.
Some interesting things:
I am (close to being) fluent in german. I'm in my 2nd year of spanish. I want to minor in russian and major in poli-sci. I want to be a JAG lawyer. I'm doing a german exchange program this summer. I swim all the time, but I need to get better to swim for the academy. I'm a vegetarian. I've wanted USNA since I knew what college was.

GlitterDye, you might have missed part of my post. I'm a little too old for NASS, but my daughter will be there. She's Navy_Hornet, and I'll try to get her back on here when were back from Spring Break.

Haha well Cougar's daughter then.

So, I'm definetly going to Session One. But my flight is friday night haha. Anyone else doing this or anyone have ideas on where to stay for the night? I'd prefer a hostel, but a cheap hotel would work... I don't want to spend the night in the airport.

i don't think you're going to find a hostel in annapolis.

Baltimore is where I'll be stsying. I can't afford to go to Annapolis because I can't afford the transportation between the two cities. I have to wait for the bus.

Hometown: Lubbock, TX
Session 1 2 or 3: All
Other intersting info about yourself: NASS Cadre

:)

SpiderMD, what happens if you are USNavalA2011's cadre, do you change groups or stay with her?

I think I would have to change squads. But not 100% sure on that.

That would be so awesome if we could stay in the same squad. But i don't see it happening either.

SpiderMD, what does NASS cadre mean? I'm guessing that you already attend USNA and will be staffing at NASS. Is that correct?

sealion, that's correct. i have a roomie who'll be a squad leader for alpha company and companymate who'll be one for bravo, and a 2nd class who's going to be the delta company commander. good luck with him, he was an sl in my platoon when i did nass.
