<p>Hey there, as far as getting in to SS, dont get too down if you get a rejection. My brother applied to SS a couple years ago and was not accepted. Then about a week before the first session was to begin he received an e-mail asking him if he would still like to go. He accepted and had the time of his life. He is currently a Midshipman 4/c and will be a member of this years SS cadre. </p>

<p>Don't give up hope on Nass.... my son just received his acceptance letter to Nass 4/15... we had givien up. It's just like the folks on this site remind everyone... "never give up".</p>

<p>sorry to hear that colby...don't give up on the academy though. only a fourth of those that attend NASS go on to the Academy, if I remember correctly. so don't bum yourself out.</p>

<p>in a word, yes. USNA was the ONLY place i applied and i got into NAPS. If you want to go badly enough you'll find a way in.</p>
