Nassau Weekly Verbatim is somewhat disconcerting...

Hi guys,

I don't know if any of you have seen Nassau Weekly's 'Verbatim' section but some of the quotes seem to perpetuate the Princeton stereotypes of students being stuck-up, superficial and some are just plain vapid.

I know that they are specifically selected to be humorous and many are from as early as 2004 but do you feel that it is at all representative of the conversations that take place on campus or am I taking it too seriously?

Thanks in advance!

“or am I taking it too seriously?” This

Haha ok thanks for clearing that up.

“some of the quotes seem to perpetuate the Princeton stereotypes of students being stuck-up, superficial”

Yes, I think that’s a large part of the point for Verbatim. That’s what’s supposed to make it funny. Have no fear, most conversations are nothing like that.
