National Acheivement NOT National Merit

Was that announced already with the people who found out that they were national acheivement. Because I got a 187 (dropped from 201 soph year up the same points im national merit oh well bad test day) and I never heard anything about national acheivement.

Can anyone verify when we will be notified or if already notified?
Also anyone know the cutoff esp. LA?

any help here iPor Favor!

Sorry, I can't help with this, but you might do better if you post your question either on the Financial aid/Scholarship or the Parents Forum.

Do you mean commended students? I heard the cutoff for that was a 203.

No, National Acheivement is for African American students but is also based on the PSAT like the NMS.

Oh, THAT thing. Affirmative action at work... again. I'm plenty liberal but affirmative action is broken. In a bad way.

I dont want that conversation on this thing but yeah i dont like AA either. Diminishes what I have accomplished and makes me have to work harder. But ima take advantage of it.

ok let's not debate whether National Achievement is a good idea...let's help this balla out
