If I haven’t gotten a rejection letter for National Achievement yet, would it be safe to assume that I’m a finalist? I’ve been obsessively checking the mail, but so far, nothing. I have a 3.83UW/4.50W GPA and a 2120 SAT, but I have 1 C on my transcript, so I’m kind of worried. 
Thoughts guys?
I don’t know that anyone on here has posted receiving one as of yet. There have been some NMF rejections with one C, but another that found out they made it that had a C (though since that was only a semester grade it might not have appeared on their transcript) but I don’t know what the standard is for NAF. Great job, and I hope you make it! I think no news is good news at this point.
The letters for students who have achieved finalist status for National Achievement Scholarship go out tomorrow, so one way or the other soon you’ll know. I am also a NASF and have received nothing in the mail so far so I’m also pretty anxious.
People should be receiving letters soon if not already.
My school received my certificate congratulating me for becoming a National Achievement Finalist yesterday. You all should be getting yours soon, too. Good luck!
My daughter got hers today too. She made it…excited!!!
Our principal notified our finalist today too. You should get a letter at home by Wednesday next week I was told. Congrats all!
Great-- see, I was worried that I hadn’t made it and the rejection letter was just late or something, haha. I’m literally DYING to know, though. Fingers crossed ! 
@Angelonacloud Are you planning to go to college on a NAF scholarship?
@Albert69 …Probably not? Most of the colleges that I applied to don’t give out NAF scholarships so…yeah. 
I’m just curious to know so I can try for the one-time merit award.

Yep the one at our HS the principal notified him last week, and he got a one page acceptance letter in an envelope today at home! Colorado.

We got the letter for my DD that she is a finalist for NA. She did have a couple Cs (not final, just quarter) in tough courses. She is a semifinalist for NMSC, but she got rejected for Finalist, probably because of the Cs I guess. Her unweighted GPA is about 3.59. Weighted is 3.915. PSAT score 224, and SAT super score 2300.
I am also a finalist! Should I expect to receive the scholarship?
PSAT: 210, SAT: 2200, GPA UW: 4.0, W: 4.3
I think my essay was pretty good.
