National Achievement Scholarship

So I heard that the National Achievement Scholarship was changed to help college students instead, but this week I received mail from a college congratulating me for being in consideration for the National Achievement Scholarship and the benefits they could give me because of it. However I haven’t heard anything else about it so I’m confused. Is it still going on or what? Has any one else gotten this?

It is administered through UNCF now. Not sure how it works. Congrats!

I don’t know, but ever since NMSC announced this spring that they were discontinuing the program and starting a partnership with UNCF for college graduates there hasn’t been a peep about it from either. Colleges are frequently incorrect with their marketing mailings and I think you can assume that this is the case.

They finally officially announced it. http://nationalmerit.org/nasp.php

They are giving the dollars to college graduates!? This makes no sense to me, shouldn’t these people be finding jobs? I could understand if it was for graduate school but it doesn’t say that.
