<p>And wondered, if there's one for National achievement, or is it non-existant and national achievement is more like a pat on the back?</p>

<p>NAS is a bit more than a pat on the back. There are scholarships from NAS and there are colleges that will offer scholarships based on the NAS designation. You should be able to use the colleges in the NMF thread to see if they also have scholarships to NAS recipients. </p>

<p>I almost locked into Forida A&M for a full-ride as an NAS recipient, but the black majority at A&M and that fact that it pales in comparison to Pepperdine (my original 1st choice) was just too overwhelming.</p>
